Hi, Kris…have been eating Mila for 9 days now, and have been experiencing positive, but subtle,

Hi, Kris…have been eating Mila for 9 days now, and have been experiencing positive, but subtle, changes…the usual increased energy, fewer food cravings, eating less, regular bowels….but what amazed me yesterday was the change in my big toe on my left foot. The joint at the base of that toe has been inflamed for years (since I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis in 2002) and in addition to the swelling and pain, I have not been able to bend that toe for the last 3-4 years. I was sitting at the computer, wiggling my toes and suddenly realized that I was wiggling all of my toes, including the big toe on my left foot. I whipped off my socks so I could see both feet, and was completely (and I mean completely) astounded to see that the toe joint was barely swollen (meaning nearly the same size as the other foot, instead of the “usual” twice-the-size) and that I could wiggle that toe. I kid you not, tears came to my eyes. This may seem like a small thing…I mean, it is just a toe joint…but that joint has caused a great deal of pain and made walking difficult, and made buying shoes a real challenge. Now, I don’t know whether or not this change will remain in place or not, but I’m pretty certain the Mila has to be the reason, because there’s nothing else different going on in my daily routine…yes, drinking more water, but I can’t see that water would be the reason for the change in pain, swelling and mobility. So, I’m officially a convert. Thanks to you, your Mom, and Bev, for introducing me to Mila. I am now feeling better and looking forward to even more improvement in my well-being. ♥ Leender

Updated, four months later…

Hi, Kris…just wanted to share some of my afternoon’s experience: I saw my rheumatologist (doc who specializes in auto-immune disorders) today…I see him twice a year, and I have regular blood tests done to determine the level of inflammation and aggravation associated with my disease (rheumatoid arthritis). He was VERY happy to explain that my test results for the last 4 months show a remarkable (his word) decrease in inflammation, and his physical exam today bore that out, as well. I told him I was eating chia seeds and he urged me to continue eating them, noting that “they are one of the best things I could be eating, high in calcium and other minerals” (his words, again). I then told him about the other positive effects I was noticing, i.e. much less inflammation in the “famous” toe joint, barely any occurence of acid reflux, and the benefits of the fiber intake. He also said that if the next 2 months worth of test results remained the same, I would be able to get off of one of my medications. Hooray!! Please know that I give you permission to share any of this information with prospects, if you so desire. And, perhaps note that this doctor is one of the 2 most highly regarded experts in his field, in all of B.C. (maybe even Western Canada). **4 months improved blood test results…4 months eating Mila** Not too hard to figure out, eh? I am so happy you found out about Mila, and so very, very happy your Mum got me going on it. Thank you. from Leender
